At many online casinos, players simply choose a game and play at their own pace. Tournaments add a competitive twist: when Zoome casino Australia offers one, players may compete over a set period for a place on a leaderboard and a share of the prizes.
Leaderboards usually rank entrants using a stated scoring method. This might be based on points, wins or qualifying activity in selected games. Prize pools can be shared among the highest-ranked players, awarded by position, or distributed in another way. The format, eligible games and prize details can vary, so check the casino’s tournament terms before entering.
Participation rules often cover registration, start and end times, eligible games, minimum qualifying play and how ties are settled. Some events may be free to enter, while others require qualifying wagers or an entry fee. Check the rules and any limits before you play.
Choose an event that suits both your budget and your playing style:
- Set a firm spending limit and avoid chasing a higher rank.
- Check whether entry is free or involves a cost.
- Look for clear scoring rules and a tournament length that fits your schedule.
A suitable tournament is one you can enjoy within your limits, whether or not you finish near the top.
